Dial: Matte black 4 line meters first dial in very good condition with light aging. There's a dark spot around 1:00 & 2:00 hour markers that is only visble in bright light that could not be captured in a photo. The hour plots and hands have developed a beautiful vibrant yellow-orange patina.
Case: 40mm stainless steel case, serial number 1,79,xx,xxx, is in excellent condition showing minimal wear. It has likley been polished in the past but remains thick and even with well-defined chamfers. This inside of the case back is stamped 5513 IV.67 and the mid case is stamped 5512. The newer reference 93150 bracelet is in excellent condtion with minimal stretch.
Movement: Rolex automatic movement caliber 1570 in good operating condition, service history is unknown.
Other: Included with the watch is a letter from the president of Rolex USA in 1971 to the owner of the watch who apprently wore it while sailing from Los Angeles to Asia in the early 1970s.
