Dial: excellent tropical glossy gilt dial that shows no cracking nor spider webbing in the lacquered surface. The color change to brown has taken place below the lacquer and parts of the dial look coppery in sunlight. The tritium hour markers have aged to a creamy yellow color. The tritium lume in the hands is lighter in color than the hour markers. Both the hour markers and hands shine brightly when exposed to UV light and drop off quickly at the same rate. The triangle on the GMT hand is oxidized (in the best way). All hands had their lume professionaly stabilizied by Giovanni Passalacqua formerly of the Rolex Service Center in San Francisco.
Case: Excellent 40mm stainless stell case that has been previously polished. It still remains thick with clearly visible bevels with light wear. The bezel works correctly and the insert is faded and shows wear. Inside of the case back is stamped IV.65 and the serial number is 1,330,xxx. The watch comes on an excellent and tight Swiss Rolex rivet bracelet dated II65 with 80 end pieces.
Movement: excellent Rolex caliber 1570 is running well and keeping good time, service history is unknown.
Notes: It doesn't get much better than this gilt dial pepsi 1675. This watch looks stunning in person!
