Dial: Mint condition glossy black dial with luminova hour markers and hands.  This is referred to as a "tritinova" dial because it is marked as if it were a dial with tritium luminous material but it was actually the first use of luminova as a new luminous material.  It was used for only two years until Rolex switched to super luminova.

Case: Previously polished 40mm stainless steel and yellow gold U serial case is in near mint condition showing minimal wear with its original case back sticker intact.  The stainless steel and yellow gold oyster bracelet with clasp code U, is in near mint condition showing minimal wear and stretch.  The bezel insert is in near mint condition showing minimal wear.  All of the yellow gold on the watch has developed a beautiful bronze patina unlike anything I've previously seen.  I've included a side by side photo of another 16613 for comparison.

Movement: Automatic winding Rolex calibre 3135 movement.

Other: The watch comes with its original punched warranty papers from a shop in Hong Kong.
