Dial: Excellent condition MK IV matte black dial that shows no real wear to speak of. The tritium hour plots have aged to a creamy hue and the hands have been color-matched to them.
Case: Excellent 40mm stainless steel case with serial number 2,94X,XXX thats remain sharp with well defined bevels and shows typical wear for a watch of this age. The bezel insert has aged to a steel grey hue and shows wear from use. The reference 9315 bracelet with 380 end links is in very good condition and show moderate wear and stretch. Both the inside of the case back and bracelet are dated 1972.
Movement: The automatic winding Rolex calibre 1570 movement is in good operating condition with an unknown service history.
Other: The is a one-owner watch from Los Angeles. The owner purchased it upon retuning home from overseas military service and wore it for 47 years!
