Dial: Very good glossy dial with gilt writing that shows againg at the galvanic (black) level.  The gilt writing remains crisp and vibrant.  The radium hour markers and hands have aged to a deep sandy hue.  The radium acts correctly when exposed to UV.  

 

Case: 38mm stainless steel with serial 232,xxx appears to be been professionally refinshed in the past and is in excellent condition showing only light wear.  The bakelite bezel insert is in exceptional condition showing light wear.  The blue portion has aged to a deep, midnight blue hue and the red portion to an oxblood hue. The C&I rivet bracelet with clasp code 71 is in excellent condition showing light wear and stretch.

 

Movement: The automatic winding Rolex calibre 1030 movement was recently serviced and is in excellent operating condition.
